Insect Prison REMAKE update v1.20
Version 1.20 finally here, albeit the time it took.
This version highlights are the Lewd Flower, now named Libido Flower as per request, and the new map feature. More on that below.
But just before, here is a seal of Lee approval on the version. Doesn’t mean the update is good, just finally released :).
World Map and Quick Travel
While walking around the island, you’ll have a map on the top right. This map will show any unlocked regions and allow quick travelling to any of these.
Also, the region you are currently on will be highlighted.
Quite the simple idea shared on F95 a long while back, but it took a bit of effort to put everything nicely together as it is. I’m proud of the map, bu do let me know any feedback.
Libido Flower
So the messy flower that keeps thwarting Leah is now directly interactable with. You may find it on the Field, while exploring normal flowers you may rarely come across a Libido Flower that is opened up.
Now, Leah is a bit of a reserved girl, so she will only interact with the Libido Flower when lewdness is equal or above 3.
Dandelion Flower
Also found on the Field, this flower has a special effect, it heightens the effectiveness of drinking tea in the cabin.
Drinking without the flower:
- Lewdness < 3 = -100% lust
- 3 <= Lewdness < 6 = -50% lust
- Lewdness >= 6 = -0% lust
Drinking with the flower:
- Lewdness < 3 = -100% lust
- 3 <= Lewdness < 6 = -100% lust
- Lewdness >= 6 = -50% lust
So now, every time you drink tea, you will have the option to heighten the effects as long as you have Dandelions in the inventory.
Assorted Stuff
Starting with a bigger one…
So we’ve run a test on the RNG and we noticed that quite obviously, the addon RNG we were using, which was supposed to be more well distributed, was actually not…
So now we reverted back to the engine’s RNG, lets see how well distributed it fairs against the addon one.
The rest is mostly fixes for the Wharf Roach G problems with seeing breasts or acts of seduction. Before it would freeze up from the inexperience, but now it will play hard and ignore Leah’s advances. Other bosses will behave the same way in the future.
Oh, there is also new loot on the Sewer…

So that's why sometimes I found so many iron in a single day, then after that I not found a single iron for like 3 days straight despite mining like crazy...
After updating the game now just shows a black screen but still plays audio on the android version.

hello, as for me, the territory on the mountain (where the stones are mined) is a bit empty, it would be possible to add some beetles that hide behind the stones. Or make a passage into a mine in this mountain where there will be some spiders or something like that. Of course, I understand your hard work and efforts, especially since the game is free and I, like many, appreciate your work. I hope you will read this idea.
Butt stuff when?
What does the torn cloth do? Or is it just random loot?
Think its early planned loot for next item or armor they planning to make.
Indeed, we’ve added it now to expand the loot on the Sewer, but it will be used in the future as material for some late game items :).

Ai generated background? Thats kinda lame
It is kinda lame, but the game already has to use AI for upscaling because it's not like Atella is redrawing everything. Maybe they could find some backgrounds or something but those might clash with the original assets. I don't like AI generation, but for a free fan project I guess I don't care too much.
Understandable opinion :).
There are several layers here. First the original backgrounds were proprietary images, which we cannot use, so they had to be recreated with AI already. Also the new images are heavily edited to maintain map continuity, mainly the beach and hideout ones.
Secondly it is a compromise, as you said, the game is free and we ain’t going to waste money on backgrounds when there is so much CGs to purchase. We are not artists and people don’t readily offer their work for free, so you have to pick your fights.
One could argue that we could use free backgrounds, but that would introduce a few problems hard to solve like, consistent art style, map continuity, freedom to edit them given licensing and finding the right backgrounds for the right places.
Then again, I totally understand, I also don’t like to use AI for major roles and art pieces and that’s why it is only used on the backgrounds.
Yeah, I understand why the choice for it is made. I'm glad this game is getting attention at all, bugs are a very difficult niche to find good stuff in <3
Good game is worth waiting for.
There is a typo in the mosquito egg laying scene.
After you done with the scene, Leah says "Insect legs" instead of eggs.
Also, there are chances when you try counter any moves, they dont always get counterd. For example, i made one feared so they can get pushed so i can counter them for defending. They defend but they dont get counterd from me pushing.
