The first version of the extension roadmap is now ready!

With version 1.5 we’ve implemented the first custom area and event, written by Lightning_Dragon. This version also includes bug fixes from version 1.0 and 2 small special events.

Also, from this point on, due to the difficulty of planning given the uncertainties surrounding the CGs, we will be revealing the next version 1 at the time on the roadmap, instead of all at once like we did with the remake roadmap, as it is easier to plan each version this way. Now for the changes on this version!

Settings screen changes

Before getting to the good stuff, we’ve split the Settings window in “options” and “content”, which can be changed with the new button to the left of the “Restore Defaults”.

Also in case any translations become outdated, we’ve added a “Language Version” field that indicates to which version the translations match.

Lastly, we have a new setting that queries the site for an update on the game. It does not auto-update just asks Itch if the current version is the last version and then will show a message on the title screen if there is an update. This is experimental so it may have bugs :P.

It can be disabled on the last setting of the left column:

Field and Egg Bee scenes

The new area is accessed by having explored the Deep Forest at least 10 times after unlocking the Banana Tree and Waterfall.

The Field is a pacific area where you can collect a few flowers and meet the Egg Bee. Just keep picking flowers in the Garden ;).

There is also a new Suppressant item that when used enemies won’t Grab attack until the end of battle. Most ingredients for this are found on the new region, so have fun exploring.

Celebratory and Valentine’s Events

These are 2 new events that can also be disabled on the Settings screen.

The celebratory event is a special one to those who celebrate this new season, but also to thank everyone for the 130.000+ downloads. Is active from 28th of January to the 14th of February.

On this event you will find:

• Lucky Envelope (gives between 100-500 SP), found with a low chance when otherwise nothing would be found.
• Fireworks on the Beach at night :D.

The Valentine’s day is another known day and season, and we’ve increased the chance of the Weird Weather happening to match the mood of the event. This one will be active from the 11th of February to the 18th.

On this one you will find:

• Love Potion (gives Charm state to the target enemy), can be bought from Rumia’s shop only.

Assorted Stuff

A few performance improvements and all critical fixes from version 1.0 are now resolved I believe. If anything else is found, let us know!

A small thing, but we’ve changed the region loot to be the same as enemy drops, granting between 1 to 3 items instead of a single one. Also improved the loot chance slightly.
