Insect Prison REMAKE update v0.85
And after the wait, v0.85 is finally here with a big amount of items worked on!
Performance improvements
The main reason it took a few more days before the test build was ready. The engine was updated to the last stable version with many improvements of its own, a few memory issues were addressed, and many other small fixes and logic corrections were implemented.
Hopefully all of it together improves the game’s performance and reduces crashes and stutters.
Combat tutorial
This is one I find relevant since combat has been one of the pain points for a while. When you start a new game now, you are asked if you want to play the combat tutorial, which will initiate a fight with a single Wharf Roach and explain the basics in a slide show styled layout. Use one of the new save slots to check it out.
Still in regards to combat, some additional rebalancing was done, so please check the changelog for the details :).
Giant Slug
The sewer now has a new party of enemies with 3 new scenes for you to collect. Slugs are thougher than any other enemy so far, but I think that the rebalances made everyone easier on my tests, so let’s see.
Libido Gun
The last item of the Libido collection is finally implemented. This one may, or not, be a bit unbalanced, as it is quite powerful on its own, however it requires you to purchase Libido Bullets in order to operate, try it out and let me know.

- (ADD) Scene name to the skip prompt, when scene has already been viewed

- (ADD) Combat block notes to the information section
- (ADD) Rumia dialogues to her shop and last objective (from original)
- (ADD) Libido Gun and bullets to Rumia’s shop

Suggestion:lewd dolphin
Doesn't do much damage and probably weaker than the roaches but it has alot of hp and comes with the group of 4 dolphins when killed they will drop a 5 types of fish
Clown fish,salmon,goldfish,cod,and fish
And also a game over screen because dolphin will drag Leah to the ocean and drown Leah to use her body forever:P

I think the idea would be interesting, the limitation is the lack of CGs. I’m not a big fan of the drowning part myself, but I’m sure we could come up with something.
I’ll put it in the backlog in case I’m able to arrange CGs that match this or an animator for the extension roadmap :).
