Hello, I just wanted to pop in and report a possible bug or issue. I'm 35 days in and I was fighting the jellyfish in the rear beach when the game crashed on me. I didn't think anything of it and tried it again after booting up the game. I got to the midway protion of the fight after killing a few jellys and the game crashed again. This same issue happened two more times in a row the same way. I'm not sure what's going on, so I figured I'd explain the situation here.

That is unexpected, do you only have this problem with Jellyfishes? And did you fight against them before without crashing?

After playing it some more, I managed to pass the jellyfish. However, there is still semi-occasional crashing in other battles I've had in the forest during combat along with the jellyfish. It never did that before when I first started to fight things. As for fighting them previously, I didn't mess with them too much until gaining better equipment. 

Could you be using the Knuckles as a weapon? Someone identified that there is a bug with them and occasionally they cause battles to crash.

After your tip, I went and tested it and it has been confirmed that using “Fast Atk” with “Knuckles” equipped will cause the game to crash.

Other weapons have been tested differently depending on their effects, and no serious issues have been found yet, except for the “Dagger” and “Kite Shield” effects which do not trigger stuns and sound effects on enemies other than the target.

I got a idea in the deep forest

When at night and you are still in the deep forest there will be a options 

1.go back to cabin

2.go to sleep in the deep forest

When going back to the cabin nothing happens

But when you choose to sleep in the deep forest a scene happens:D

Probably the mosquito or roach or even a new insect:p

And also add tentacles in swamp 

25% tentacles encounter

That's a great idea, maybe I can write a similar event using the original CG, but it'll be after version 1.0 before I can implement it.

If Atela gives us permission to use the additional CGs, we could add some hammock scenes. That could be a good addition as an option to sleeping outside :).

No, the original resources still exist on the web. “アテラ” has been updating its game resources on a wiki site, except that the last update was in 2019.

It's a bit difficult to start the game because it's based on the “CardWirth” platform, but as a Japanese, you'll be more familiar with it than we are.

Sorry if I misunderstood, are you referring to the original Japanese text?

The version I’m using as base is the English translated version 0.71b, which does not contain the Japanese text.

The remake uses the text from this version, so it does not contain the Japanese texts.

It is possible to add the Japanese text back by creating a new translation file and copying the original text there.

Another important notice

Re-uploaded version 0.90 with the scene issues below fixed, so the Leech and Mosquito scenes should all work normally now. There was also another soft hidden bug pointed out by Lightning_Dragon that should also be fixed in the re-upload :).

Let me know of other errors found along the way.

Corrected the issues you mentioned. I’ll send you the version I’m using of the builder software.

A Spanish translator is working on the Spanish option, so I might make an update to 0.90 or 0.95 to add the language.

For other languages I would need other translators to reach forward for contact.

I'm having a problem with mosquito scene.. I mean like.. After going to sleep I hear mosquito sound but after this the only thing happening is black screen and music.. What should I try to do?

I can attest to that, it happens when you have panties on, but this also happens with Leech laying eggs.

Should be fixed after the re-upload :).

Important notice

It seems the first time I uploaded version 0.90 something was broken in the title screen.

I don’t understand what happened, but I just rebuilt the game and re-uploaded again. I tried the “New game” option and it seems to work now. This was a bit weird, but let me know if any additional problem arises.

I'm having problems starting the game up with my android 14, as the button for "New game" doesn't produce anything.

Any tips on what could possibly be going wrong?

You’re right, the “New game” is not working on the release build… “Load game” works fine. I’ll check what happened.

Also maybe it's out of pocket in this situation but I do want to deeply thank you for shining the light on this amazing game by remaking it; polishing it along the way. If it wasn't for you and your team, I definitely wouldn't have heard of it or seen it. ^^

There are a few hidden gems here and there, usually not very known due to being shared either in niche circles or on top of archaic or overly complex software. Hopefully this game shines some light on a hidden work and also allows me to gain skills for myself :D.

As a side note, I’ve just re-uploaded the game. It seems something happened during the build process, and somehow the title screen got broken. It should work now none the less.

Hi Eroism. I found a very specific behavior of the game in the inventor and in the store. I play on SteamDeck, and I use a touchpad to control the mouse cursor (pressing the touchpad = pressing the left mouse button). In the entire game, in addition to inventory and store, pressing the touchpad is recorded normally, but only in the inventory and in the store pressing on the touchpad work only once every ~ 15 clicks, I have to use a touch screen.

That is a specific problem, seems related to the same issue on Android with the buttons on some menus, which are usually the shop and inventory as well. I believe I fixed it for Android in the new version, let me know if it is also fixed on your side.

I tested version 0.9 for windows (earliest build), works almost perfectly. Back button still works after about the second try, otherwise everything is fine.

What the hell? Why did I get a 1 pregnancy when I watched the memory about Parasite-dog? It was a memory, why? It was 0, I watched it and it became  1 !?!?

Aaaah I didn’t check this sooner or I would have attempted to fix it. Most likely a bug in the recalling. The recalling uses the same scenes as normal but with conditions, so it is likely that I messed/missed some attribute changes.

I noticed that in the remake road map you missed some enemys like the wasp or dragon fly

“Wasp” was just an H-event to enjoy in the original version, there was no story or scenario about it, so naturally it wasn't shown in the remake, and this part will be designed by our own original after 1.0.

“Dragonfly” I can only regret, because in the original it was also only used to test CG animations (and there were only 5 CGs, so it was almost hard to use), so I think there's a big chance it won't be added.

I think you mean “Lewdness”, because “Lust” only has a percentage value.

Please go to “Hideout” and look for “Rumia” to use her machine to clear the “Lewdness” value. Then Leah can drink tea to lower the percentage of “Lust”.

If you haven't met “Rumia” yet, you'll need to get an H-event from “Wharf Roach”. Be careful not to be defeated by them, or the high “Lewdness” status will lead to a game-over event.

All you need to do is to have an H-event with “Wharf Roach” during the battle, then explore the forest again and again, and you'll meet “Rumia”, and finally you'll be able to unlock her store and spend some money to use her machine(Her store's on Shoreline.).

No matter what, don't let “Wharf Roach” beat you.

Indeed, the logic I came up with to migrate the complex scenes from the original to the remake is not the best, and it takes some long time to convert scenes, specially if their big. I would imagine that new scenes would have some little deviations to simplify the implementation process.

Anyway, I might have a fix to the broken scene not being unlockable, so on version 0.90, this scene might finally be available in the recall :D.

Bro, if we take logic into consideration, the protagonist would end up dying even if the insects were placed inside her vagina. The most logical thing would be for them to devour her from the inside, after all, they would need an energy source to grow.

insects can't eat large amount of meat, and inside such a place, they would rather try to crawl out for more oxygen and sunlight, bigbrainn####, also, the walls of vagina will proly be too slippery for them to even make small bites out of, and newborn larvae doesn't even asa strong jaw, please don't make the game any more of a fantazytale, some people like inappropriate realism

That is an interesting idea. I also wanted “backdoor” content, but the original CGs do not have any, except for the little action in the Mosquito scene.

Depending on the availability of an animator, we might see scenes with butt stuff.

There was good progress over this weekend, so I believe it will enter the translation phase by the end of the week or the early weekend in the worst case scenario. The translations add a few days of additional work, so most likely the release will be over the weekend or start of next week.

If you think this is a simple matter, then why don't you develop games yourself? Write your game yourself and rivet, updates on it at least every day, where 90% of the entire game will be bugs and errors. I will look at you and the people who will write you "affectionate" reviews.

I appreciate your enthusiasm :), unfortunately all I can ask you for now is to have some patience, as the time I can give to work on the game is fairly limited during the week, so most of my progress is achieved on weekends.

As much as I would like to do this full-time that is not possible at the moment as only my main job can provide enough for the monthly expenses that I incur.

As for the content on the next version, the scenes this time around are quite simple, but the changing in the split of consent scenes and defeat scenes required a refactor in most older scene logic, which is taking me some time, besides the performance testing and optimization. Hopefully by the end of next week I’ll have this finished with help from my friend and the version can go into the translation phase.

I was just scrolling through the website and saw a very similar scene from the Insect prison remake. I can show you a picture if necessary. Maybe you're looking at the original artist of the game, “Atella”, as he's still working on his new CGs with the same characters. Of course, since I haven't seen any pictures, this is just my guess.

You need to equip “Libido Ring” and make sure that your “Lust” is greater than 40% and your “lewdness” is greater than or equal to 3 before exploring the swamp. After encountering the leech, you can enter the event.

Additionally, if in doubt, check the Scene Guide :).

Can you add a scene were she gets Exhausted but the enemy still goes on?

The antivirus won't let me open it, it tells me that if I run it, it will put my PC at risk, It's the weirdest porn game I've ever seen.

It’s not a virus, but sometimes an antivirus (Windows Defender, I’m looking at you) may report the game as potentially dangerous.

If you’re unsure, run the game with Sandboxie, the game as no online features so you loose absolutely nothing and you run lesser risks because Sandboxie blocks internet access for the game and restricts the files it can mess with :).

Will there be anymore tentacle to the game…?

It is highly unlikely, as most remaining CGs do not have tentacle content.

Ive never seen the original, do you have a link to it?

You might find some links on the Mushi no Kangoku wikia. The original Japanese wikia page as been deleted or moved it seems, which there was a link there to but you might find other links.

The original Japanese wikia hasn't been deleted or moved and still exists, but I think downloading the original and English translation files directly from the forums should be enough.

You’re right, I couldn’t access the page on my browser, but I tested with another and it worked, the Japanese wiki page still exists.

Unfortunately, the original author will stop updating the game altogether, so this game is left to us to make it even more beautiful.

I’m not sure, but I would say that it is possible that either the next release schedule or assistance with Android issues are the most frequent questions :P.

We are aiming for the typical period, so that would be like slightly less than 2 weeks from this point, depending on how much progress we dish out this week :).

Oh I see, no there is no specific scene for the mushroom worm. The only scenes present in the original were for the parasite worm. So catching any of them always leads to those scenes.

Make it so on Monday,Friday,Sunday, and Saturday that you can't buy from Rumia because it doesn't make sense when you peek on the back Monday it said "no one is there" but if you go but there is Rumia

well the note says in game she is not available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. so though days make more sense

Along the updates I made a mistake between the logic and the updates, Rumia should only be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, but I wrote the opposite.

I’ll double check this with the original game, but anyhow, in the next update this will be corrected, and on Rumia’s days off, you won’t be able to enter the shop, as originally intended.

Some of the menus, notably the inventory and Rumia's shop are semi-unresponsive on android, the colors invert as normal, but they stay inverted and nothing happens when you select them unless you just happen to get lucky.

Thank you for the report. This issue was already confirmed in a few posts below and it will be fixed by the next version :). The workaround meanwhile is to spam press the buttons until they detect the press. Clicking outside the menu panel first can also improve the chance of detection.

Bug I found: If you click too fast when exploring, the game will break, via not having an encounter and getting stuck on an empty encounter screen.

Another thing I noticed, is that Rumia's and Leah's portraits will invert their colors when clicking on them (Most likely a result of the new feature of icons turning white when hovering over them)

their colors inverting is a nice touch, i kind of like it

I’ve seen a few reports of the bug on the encounters, I’m attempting to investigate it but I’m having some trouble reproducing it on my device. Nofunnis found that if you put the battle speed to x2.0 in the settings, this bug does not occur, or is less likely to occur.

The color inversion on the icons is on purpose, as it is the hovering effect of the buttons, when they loose focus, for example moving the mouse away or pressing anywhere else, their color returns to normal. I noticed recently that this tends to persist on Android when it shouldn’t I’ll see if I make a slight change on the button feedback effect.
