Sometimes when fighting the enemies, you just have to spam the same action and hope you are lucky, because the attacks from the enemeis cant be predicted, like i want to attack this unit, but it by random either deflect my attacks, or goes heavy attack on me or any other move, and i cant really predict what i should pick next for my attacks to actually matter.
What i would like to see, is a better way to fight them so you dont have to rely on spamming the same move and hope you win.
I understand your point. The combat is mostly reliant on RNG for the enemy actions, there is no strategy scheme. There is a set of rules that may help.
Enemies won’t use the same action twice in a row, (unless previously stunned or charmed), so it is safe to use the opposite of their last action, since they won’t repeat the counter on the next turn.
Enemies only use 1 of 4 actions (Fast Attack, Heavy Attack, Grab Attack and Guard), so based on the last turn you have a 1/3 chance to hit on their next action’s counter.
On the next update I’ll make a change so that every counter action stuns the enemy, so trying to go for counters in the best option. But I’m still trying to figure out how to tilt the combat a bit more to tactics based without fundamentally changing the current system. (Maybe removing the Parry action and make it an overloaded “full” Rock-Paper-Scissors)
There is at least one issue here that is from the game itself, which is the map names. They are not translatable, like the other texts are, but this will be corrected on version 0.85, since I updated the map names to allow this :).

That is a good idea, but there might be already a sort of feature planned to become friendly with the insects in the future (have them as companions), after the remake is completed :).

I don't think it's appropriate, my friend, the enemies in the game are obviously not interested in these things, they are more interested in having sex with Leah, and naturally it should be after many sexual encounters, chance encounters on the map and eventually becoming friends. Hi, I tested the new update. First of all, the switch to lossy is really incredible, the file is really lighter for an almost unnoticeable change in image quality. I don't know if it's related but the performances also seems to be better and I noticed the game is way less prone to crashes so that's really cool.
Now I still don't know why but the about button still doesn't work with the same error message, I tried to reset the game files but it doesn't change anything. Also if I didn't dream this the message about not being able to drink tea is still bugged.
Here's what I noticed about the new update, I don't speak any of the localization next languages so I can't track errors in these. I'm eager to see how the game will end up. Good luck for the project and take care.
The performance impact is related to the image size decrease, because the game had to preload and decompress about 800 Mbs of lossless image data into RAM before actually starting. Lossy compression also reduced the memory footprint by 10 times, so the game only preloads about 80 Mbs of data now :). As you may have noticed, the cost is quality loss, but the ratio seems acceptable so far.
I was able to reproduce your problem with the “About” on version v0.81. It is a bit difficult to understand as it cannot be reproduced on a debug build, only a release build… I’ll have to check deeper into it and understand what is happening with the file to fail to be loaded on release builds.
I think it's because the game program is programmed to look for “readme.txt” text files. If a file with the same name is placed in the same directory as the game program, you'll find that the “about” button in the game automatically recognizes the file, even if it's not the original one. and when there is no “readme.txt” in the same directory as the game program, “about” will choose to report an error.
This is a very funny and interesting phenomenon. The reason it hasn't happened before is that the “readme.txt” text file is in the same zip file as the game program when you update it.
Yes I looked a bit more and you might be mostly right. Basically the readme.txt should be embedded in the game binary, but it seems that when built to release, the file is not being included inside. This might be a configuration error on my side, because there are inclusion and exclusion rules, and I’m using both.
In debug, the file exists outside of the game, so it is capable of loading it as a file separate from the game like you said :P.
I'd like to propose that the combat restraint chart be put into the game's “Information” section, otherwise it will gradually become harder to find on the front page after future updates.
Hello developers, I speak Spanish but I am going to use a translator to say some problems that I had with the latest version.
The fact is that in this latest update... it comes out of nowhere, it gets stuck in battles (by this I mean that let's say I hit the search icon several times and in the previous version I did the same thing and there was no problem... but it stays bugged as if we were in the battle phase) and it goes a little slow, you could say.
And for some reason the progress of the game does not appear as a file in the data where the information is saved on the cell phone (android folder = data in the folder called "files", since I wanted to send what I have to someone else cell phone), I mean when you save in the game (well my thinking was that, that when saving the progress a file was created and every time we save it is updated xd)
I only reported because I had no problems before updating, thank you.
The saving problem is a bit concerning, but I’m unable to reproduce it as when I save it seems to work, but I’m testing on the desktop only currently, I’ll attempt in Android and get back with news.
The other problem I did not quite understood, can you give me more details on the issues you’re having with getting stuck in battles?
When I click on the "Magnifying glass" which in the game is to search and when I click on it (I play on a cell phone but that's what I'm going to tell you) and click on "OK" when it gives us information about what I found, Leath I quickly click on that to save time and give those 2 "options".
The problem arises when there is a battle because, let's say, when you press it quickly it remains as if it were bugged, it remains as if it were in battle but on the beach and without any enemy.
If you only find resources, nothing happens.

I had something similar in the early stages of the game.
It mostly happened after the H-scenes. When the H-scene ended after pressing the "End of Scene" button, the screen returned to the battle, but nothing could be done. No icons were pressed.
But it was in early versions of the game, up to about 0.70. When the game was only on PC. I was sinning on my old laptop.
Re-uploaded the v0.81 with the corrections to the translation issues. It should be Ok now, but let me know if any error arises.
I’ve noticed that the settings don’t fit the window in the Russian version, but I can’t understand what is wrong to fix it, because this does not happen on debug version, only in release. I’ll keep investigating to see if I can identify and correct this by the next version.

Your text has code exposed when Leah reports the date when she gets up. There is also a place where the code is exposed when Leah wakes up with a parasite attack.
That's right. The date does not show when the Mosquito will attack at night, in English. I'll check the script right now, but maybe the problem is adding localization.
Apparently, after 3 H scenes with the worm, there is a chance to get the big worm. (The more parasites you have, the better chance. Also it doesn't need to be consecutive with the scenes. It will also only appear when you choose to take off underwear when sleeping)

Using anywhere could be doable, but would require a constraint, like you need at least 3 lewdness.

Oh I see, that is a neat idea. I’m not sure if I could have a specific insect for that because of the lack of CGs, but it would surely be interesting to have a sort of beetle that dropped ores on defeat.
Can the pink mist be changed to be a continuous effect after each action. That way it becomes more strategic on what needs to be done in that day? Also when you get to late game can you use Atella other characters as flashbacks for the missing people or as have the flashbacks characters as playable points of view from said characters.
I’m not sure I understood the idea for the continuous effect for the pink mist.
Other characters will depend on approval of Atella for usage of other CGs, I haven’t asked yet, but depending on his answer I’ll make a roadmap for the extension accordingly.
okay to clarify the pink mist say you start at the house and then you go to the forest the meter increases by little (I trust what you believe to be an acceptable amount) then you search it again increases, you go to the cliffs again increases. Does this clarify? (Being genuine I have a hard time making it easy to talk to people and being clear.)
Sorry, I may also be a bit bad at understanding sometimes, but I think I understood your idea. You would like a meter to tell how advanced you are in the day, as to know “how many actions” you still have left before night, is this correct?
Honestly curious if there will be a monent where our character would react erotically after a scene between her and the parasite worms after sleeping? Similar to the fly scene after sleeping?
Consent is not about loosing, but in most situations, the consent scene is used as the defeated scene. Jellyfish are an exception because they have their own scene for that.
I’ll change the defeated scenes for all when I add the missing birth scenes.
Forced and Consent scenes are based on lewdness level when H attacked by enemies in combat. Consent scenes happen when Lewdness >= 3, and Forced when Lewdness > 3.
H events from grabbing attacks in combat happen when lust is >= 75% and you do not resist or fail to resist, or in case lewdness is severe (>= 6) you have no option to resist.

I don’t think I have a favorite month, at least never thought about it.
I prefer the “:)” smile because the other 2 look a bit strange to me, I’m not used to them :P.
In terms of the image compression, PNG is not very good for size with complex images (many colors and shapes), because PNG uses lossless compression the images will generally be bigger, except for certain cases where PNG performs better, like pixel art with few colors or monochromatic images.
JPEG and WEBP are lossy formats, and they reduce greatly the size of images at the cost of loosing some data, so for bigger images it is generally better to use JPEG and WEBP if the loosing a bit of quality is not a problem.
Some people like to play in their native language I guess. I like as well :). If someone wants to provide translations for a given language it also helps the game get more reach, which is great.
That’s difficult, but I would probably prefer burgers and pizza, because bread…
Slug scenes were pushed back until the current translations are completed, so it may take more than 2 weeks, depending on how fast the translation update is finished.
Before version 0.85 I’ll release an update to 0.80 with new translations and some bug fixes.
Indeed, the reason for the weight is because of the animations, each scene uses about 165 images on average and there is a total of about 2700 images in the game. All together they weight around 800 Mb which is like 2/3 of the game’s size :/.
There will be a few more scenes, so images are expected to go up to 3500 and the size in images up to 1 Gb.
Not without impacting the quality of the animations. The best I can do with the least effort is change the compression format, but I have to test several settings to avoid dropping the quality of the images too much. Images are currently saved to lossless JPEG, which is way smaller than BMP and PNG, but I think they can be further compressed with lossy JPEG or WEBP, the drawback would be the considerable loss in the image quality.
Next would be removing middle frames, but that would negatively change the scenes and I wanted to preserve the original feel of Atella’s work.
Another option would be to use the original images instead of the upscaled ones, as that would reduce the size of the images by about half. Then again, this would impact the quality of the animations and they would look bad in 720p, 1080p and 1400p. (personal opinion since I played the original with all these resolutions to test)
One other thing that could be done is splitting the characters from the background and lower the weight of each frame by just having characters change, slightly reducing the size of each image, but this is monumental work for 3000+ images.
I stand corrected. I made a test to change compression from lossless JPEG to lossy WEBP and I was able to reduce the image sizes by 8 times… Literally from 530 Kbs to 66 Kbs :O.
There is some slight image quality reduction, I think it is difficult to notice, but WEBP is not as good as JPEG is sharp color differences it seems, and blurs color changes in some parts of the images, but it might be hard enough to notice that it compensates the absolute image size reduction :). I’ll try and apply this on every image for the next update.

I’m thinking on restructuring the About section to make some form of mini guide, but it is still in planning. Other than that, having a wikia page would be great, but I don’t have time for everything unfortunately :(.
There will be some changes to the first battles and tweaks to stats, maybe that will help with the combat difficulty :).

Oh I see, that is a neat idea. I’m not sure if I could have a specific insect for that because of the lack of CGs, but it would surely be interesting to have a sort of beetle that dropped ores on defeat.

Can the pink mist be changed to be a continuous effect after each action. That way it becomes more strategic on what needs to be done in that day? Also when you get to late game can you use Atella other characters as flashbacks for the missing people or as have the flashbacks characters as playable points of view from said characters.

I’m not sure I understood the idea for the continuous effect for the pink mist.
Other characters will depend on approval of Atella for usage of other CGs, I haven’t asked yet, but depending on his answer I’ll make a roadmap for the extension accordingly.
okay to clarify the pink mist say you start at the house and then you go to the forest the meter increases by little (I trust what you believe to be an acceptable amount) then you search it again increases, you go to the cliffs again increases. Does this clarify? (Being genuine I have a hard time making it easy to talk to people and being clear.)
Sorry, I may also be a bit bad at understanding sometimes, but I think I understood your idea. You would like a meter to tell how advanced you are in the day, as to know “how many actions” you still have left before night, is this correct?
no though that's a good idea. Mine was pretty every action the lewd or lust meter goes up by what ever amount you deem appropriate.

Honestly curious if there will be a monent where our character would react erotically after a scene between her and the parasite worms after sleeping? Similar to the fly scene after sleeping?

Question: How do I get the types of scenes?, I have seen 3 types so far
1. Consent (Lose all your HP during battle)
2. Defeat (Probably exclusive to Jellyfish, but I don't know how to get it from other enemies.)
3. Forced (I don't know how to get this one)
Consent is not about loosing, but in most situations, the consent scene is used as the defeated scene. Jellyfish are an exception because they have their own scene for that.
I’ll change the defeated scenes for all when I add the missing birth scenes.
Forced and Consent scenes are based on lewdness level when H attacked by enemies in combat. Consent scenes happen when Lewdness >= 3, and Forced when Lewdness > 3.
H events from grabbing attacks in combat happen when lust is >= 75% and you do not resist or fail to resist, or in case lewdness is severe (>= 6) you have no option to resist.

I’m sorry, but there is no such content in the original game and no such CGs from Atella, so that would be a bit difficult to consider.
For a different game it would be a possibility for sure, however for this remake I’m afraid it isn’t :(.
any recommendations for similar games in the meantime? I still check here every week just wanted to know if there are any similar I haven't played yet.
Difficult to say at the moment, there is still translation work being done and I would like to release when everyone was ready.

In terms of the image compression, PNG is not very good for size with complex images (many colors and shapes), because PNG uses lossless compression the images will generally be bigger, except for certain cases where PNG performs better, like pixel art with few colors or monochromatic images.
JPEG and WEBP are lossy formats, and they reduce greatly the size of images at the cost of loosing some data, so for bigger images it is generally better to use JPEG and WEBP if the loosing a bit of quality is not a problem.
Some people like to play in their native language I guess. I like as well :). If someone wants to provide translations for a given language it also helps the game get more reach, which is great.

There will indeed be a few more birth scenes, but only after I restructure the defeated scenes. This should come along with version 0.90 :).
slug scenes being added this week or next week?
Slug scenes were pushed back until the current translations are completed, so it may take more than 2 weeks, depending on how fast the translation update is finished.
Before version 0.85 I’ll release an update to 0.80 with new translations and some bug fixes.

I just found it this game and it looks good. Not really my type, but nah. And the game is really heavy lol.
Indeed, the reason for the weight is because of the animations, each scene uses about 165 images on average and there is a total of about 2700 images in the game. All together they weight around 800 Mb which is like 2/3 of the game’s size :/.
There will be a few more scenes, so images are expected to go up to 3500 and the size in images up to 1 Gb.

Not without impacting the quality of the animations. The best I can do with the least effort is change the compression format, but I have to test several settings to avoid dropping the quality of the images too much. Images are currently saved to lossless JPEG, which is way smaller than BMP and PNG, but I think they can be further compressed with lossy JPEG or WEBP, the drawback would be the considerable loss in the image quality.
Next would be removing middle frames, but that would negatively change the scenes and I wanted to preserve the original feel of Atella’s work.
Another option would be to use the original images instead of the upscaled ones, as that would reduce the size of the images by about half. Then again, this would impact the quality of the animations and they would look bad in 720p, 1080p and 1400p. (personal opinion since I played the original with all these resolutions to test)
One other thing that could be done is splitting the characters from the background and lower the weight of each frame by just having characters change, slightly reducing the size of each image, but this is monumental work for 3000+ images.
I stand corrected. I made a test to change compression from lossless JPEG to lossy WEBP and I was able to reduce the image sizes by 8 times… Literally from 530 Kbs to 66 Kbs :O.
There is some slight image quality reduction, I think it is difficult to notice, but WEBP is not as good as JPEG is sharp color differences it seems, and blurs color changes in some parts of the images, but it might be hard enough to notice that it compensates the absolute image size reduction :). I’ll try and apply this on every image for the next update.
